Figuring Out Tread Depth and Whether to Replace Your Tires
You should regularly check the tread on your tires. Check the tread once a month, each time you change your oil, or before heading out on a long road trip. The easiest way to decide if your tire tread is ok or needs replacing is to use a penny. Place it with Lincoln’s head facing down in to the tread. If you can’t see the top of his head, then your tread is likely good.
